Biography

Berryman A Whitley was enumerated at Lithonia Post Office, Diamonds District, DeKalb County, Georgia for the June 30, United States Census, 1870. He was noted as born 1864-1865 in Georgia as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are male Needham Whitley, female Mary Whitley, male John H Whitley, male Thomas J Whitley, male William F Whitley, female Elizabeth E Whitley, male James B Whitley, female Cora Lee Whitley and male Joseph L Whitley.[1]

Berryman Whitley was enumerated as son at Diamonds, DeKalb County, Georgia for the June 22, United States Census, 1880. He was noted as a farm hand, born 1864 in Georgia and single as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are self Needum Whitley, wife Mary Whitley, son James Whitley, daughter Eula Whitley, daughter Cora Whitley, son Lewis Whitley, son Elbert Whitley, daughter Mary Whitley and daughter Lena Whitley.[2]

Benjamin Andrew Whitley is buried at Yukon Cemetery in Yukon, Canadian County, Oklahoma, USA.[3]
