Biography
Daniel was born about 1839.
He was the son of John C Whiney and [[Temple-2892|Polly Temple.
He married Mary Jane White in 1865.[1]
He died in 1913.[2]
Birth
- Nothing is known of the ancestry of Daniel A. Whitney, According to the 1900 Census, he was born in Maine in September 1839.[3]
Marriage
- Daniel A. Whitney married the widow Christiana L. (Billington) Godingat Weld, Maine, on 18 Jun 1893.[4][3] Given Daniel's age, it may not have been his first marriage, but no earlier marriage record has been found.
Death
- No record has been found of the death of Daniel A. Whitney. He was living on 12 Jun 1900, when his household was enumerated for the 1900 Census.[3]
