The Bengal Obituary (1851) states: “Sacred to the Memory of Mrs. Mary Wallis, who departed ths life 16th November 1825, aged 42 years and one month. “God is good, the Lord is very merciful unto me.” Hannah, the infant daughter of William Wallis, who survived her departed mother fourteen days. Sarah, the infant daughter of William and Mary Wallis, who departed this life 26th August 1821.[5]
