Biography
Corporal Oliver Wilbur served with Rhode Island during the American Revolution.
Oliver Wilbur is a DAR Patriot Ancestor, A202117.
Oliver Wilbur was born in 1755 to Abner Wilbur and Sarah Rathbone.[1]
On October 23, 1777, he married Elizabeth Benjamin.[2] Together, they had the following children:
- William Benjamin Wilbor, b. 26 May 1778 in Plainfield, CT, d. 1848, m. Mercy Greenfield
- Woodbury Starkweather Wilbor, b. 19 Jan 1781 in Plainfield, CT, m. Mary Stevens
- Samuel Rathbone Wilbor/Wilbur, b. 20 Dec 1782 in Plainfield, CT, m. Mary Halstead/Hallstead on 6 May 1814
- Sarah Ann Wilbor, b. 10 Aug 1786 in Plainfield, CT
