Biography

Franklin Wilkin was born 24 January 1877 in Newton Twnp., Licking Co., Ohio. He was the son of George Wilkin and Phebe Roe.[1]

  • The family reside on a farm four miles west of Newark, and belong to the Evangelical Lutheran Church. They have a beautiful home with all modern conveniences, designed and built by Mr. Wilkin himself who is a skilled carpenter and mechanic, as well as a prosperous farmer. Everything on the place denotes industry and enterprise.
