Jane Wilkinson is named by many secondary sources to have been the spouse of Edward Dix of Watertown, Mass. The reason seems to be that Edward Dix and Jane Wilkinson were both on a 6 Jun 1635 passenger list of the Thomas & John bound from London to Virginia.[1] However, there is nothing to indicate that these two passengers were connected with each other, and Anderson argues convincingly that this Edward Dix is not the same one who lived in Watertown[1] (see the profile of Edward Dix for more information). There are no primary sources extant for this relationship.
BDM data is conjecture. According to: Genealogy of the Parke families of Massachusetts including Richard Parke, of Cambridge, William Park, of Groton, and others Comp. by Frank Sylvester Parks. Published 1909 by [Presswork by the Columbia Polytechnic Institute Printing Office] available on the internet via Open Library at https://archive.org/stream/genealogyofparke00park#page/n5/mode/2up Jane's maiden name was Wilkinson.
Much Thanks To:Bob Tonsmeire for this information.
Note that previous duplicate profiles stated that Jane had died in 1635 but this seems unlikely if she gave birth to children as late as 1648.
