Biography

Alfred G. Wilkinson was born in May 1848 in Illinois.

He married Sarah Lucinda Taylor around 1872. They had children including William Henry, Cora and Frank.

William Henry left home before he could be counted in a census with the family, he was only 9 years old at the time. His sister, Cora, and her family came to visit him in Missouri when Mary Ellen Wilkinson was a little girl. She remembers meeting her Aunt Cora, who was living in Illinois at that time.

Alfred G. Wilkinson died March 22, 1919 in Buffalo, Wyoming.

NOTE: Possible point of confusion for Alfred (born in Illinois) and Sarah (born in Iowa) Wilkinson - There is another couple found in the Census Records with the names Alfred (born in England) and Sarah (born in Connecticut) Wilkinson.
