Dorothy Williams was born in 1631 in Ireland, her father, John, was 32, and her mother, Alice, was 32. She married Richard Dobbs in 1655 in England. They had five children in 11 years. She became a Quaker (to her husband's intense annoyance) and died after 1686.[1][2]
Birth record provided below seems unlikely, and no marriage record has been located. No death record located. Date of death is based on congregational meeting minutes, which reveal that she was a member of the Belfast and Ballyhagan Meetings up to at least 1686.
