Biography
Lancie was born in 1917. He was the son of Fred Williams and Louisa Lobb.
His father passed away in 1927.
Lancie was living in Union Street, Foxton and was working as a Farmhand in 1938.
During the 2nd World War he served in the New Zealand Air Force, having received his advanced air training in Canada. He attained the rank of Flight Sergeant. Service No: 405460
He married Elizabeth Redfern on 11 February 1950 at Foxton, New Zealand.
In the 1972 NZ Electoral Rolls Lancie was living in Papawai Road, Greytown, and working as a Cleaner.
He passed away in 1998 at the age of 81.
