Biography
Disa is mentioned in the 1803 will of her father, Samuel Woodard, Sr., in Southampton County, Virginia:
"...to daughter Dicey Woodard 3 head of cattle one bed and furniture and riding chair; but wf to get use of the chair as long as they live together also lend wf use of mare, then to dau Dicey
"residue to wife during life or widowhood and then to daus Martha Pope and Dicey Woodard. 22 Feb 1803...."[1]
She passed away before 1827, when her husband, Jesse Jordan, remarried.
