He was born on 21 March 1702 in Newton, Middlesex County, Massachusetts and his parents were John Woodward, Jr. and Hannah Hyde. [1]

He moved his family to New York.

He passed away between 09 Jan 1773 and 20 March 1773 in Pawling, Dutchess County, New York.
