I was able to find William and Mary's immigration details to South Australia on the Richardson to confirm they are the same people.

The 1868 Marriage entry lists her as Mary Allen, but her father as William Waklend. No entries found under Waklend or Wakeland. Other genealogy sites use "Mary Waklend", possibly her original maiden name, and Allen being from an earlier marriage. (Marital status: W) It would seem William Woolacott's age is understated in this document.
Ah, second marriage.
