Research Notes
Thomas Roderick's grave marker in Douglas Cemetery does not list a birth date. The inscription on the grave marker states "DIED NOV. 2, 1854 AGED ABOUT 45 YRS." Some sources indicate he was born on January 22, 1805, while others indicate he was born on January 22, 1809. 45 years prior to November 2, 1854 would be 1809.

Wright-19624 and Wright-26578 appear to represent the same person because: Thomas Roderick was my gg grandfather. This is only my 2nd day in WikiTree, so I obviously created a new entry instead of using the existing one. One note - our family records show his birth as 1809. His grave marker shows he died in 1854 at age 45, which puts his birth at 1809 instead of 1805. There are probably as many sources that list his birth as 1805 as there are 1809. Thanks.
