Ruth Wright was born (probably in Woburn, Massachusetts) about 1723, the ninth child and fifth daughter of James Wright and Elizabeth Patten. She was 12 years old at the time of her father's death in 1735.[1]
She married Seth Wyman, son of Seth of Charlestown, Massachusetts, in Woburn, on June 4, 1744. Her husband died in Arlington, Massachusetts, on November 19, 1749. She was made administrator of his estate December 11, 1749. Children, Arlington births:[1][2][3][4]
Seth Wyman, born March 26, 1745; baptized May 5, 1745, at West Cambridge.[2][5]
Ruth Wyman, born January 8, 1750 (after father's death); married Dr. William Hill.[2][6]
She married second, Samuel Shepard a Haverhill, Massachusetts, Innholder, in Medford, Massachusetts, on May 20, 1752.[2][7]
