Biography

Ruth York, the daughter of John York and Ruth Graves, was born about 1682 in Maine^[1][2] or perhaps in Durham, Strafford, New Hampshire.^[3]

Ruth married Henry Haskell on 3 or 13 Jan 1702/03 in Gloucester or Harvard, Massachusetts.^[1][4][5] They had the following children:^[1][2][3]

• Henry, b.1706, m.Hulda Smith 1731;
• Ruth, b.1709, m.Mead;

Henry and family removed from Gloucester to Harvard, Massachusetts, in 1735^[1] and were dismissed from the church in Gloucester to the church in Harvard at that time.^[4][6]

Ruth Haskell died on 16 Jun 1749^[1] in Harvard, Massachusetts^[7] and was buried at Harvard Center Cemetery in Harvard, Worcester Co., Massachusetts.^[2][3][8]
