Biography
Thomas Cadet Young Jr. was born in Lunenburg (now Mecklenburg) County, Virginia. He was the father of Rev. Thomas E. Young who was born at Hunting Creek, Iredell county, North Carolina and grandfather of Edwin B. Young. Edwin was the father of Nannie Bell Young who married Warner Rich. Warner's son William is the father of Burrus Young Rich.
Thomas's father was Thomas Cadet Young Sr., born in Va.
Research Notes
Despite what appears on the tombstone for date of birth, the dates of birth for Thomas and his sister, Temperance, are within six months of each other. One of them must be wrong. The FamilySearch Genealogy lists Thomas's birth in 1771.[1]
