Charlotte was born Oct, 10, 1899 in Rossland, British Columbia, Canada. She was a twin to her brother Mervin Young. [1][2] She was the daughter of Daniel Romain Young and Charlotte Ann Miles.[1][3] Shortly after her birth, she and her family resided at Nelson and then Vernon, British Columbia, Canada.[2] By 1911, the family was found in the Queen Charlotte Islands and then Vancouver, British Columbia. [4][2]
In 1915, her father Daniel Young passed away. Charlotte’s mother then took the family to Seattle, WA, USA in 1915.[2]
Charlotte’s mother remarried to Clifford Irwin and by 1920 the family resided at Haller Lake, King, WA, USA.[5]Charlotte was then 20 years old.
In 1925, Charlotte married Clarence Arthur Pangborn.[6][7][8][9] Charlotte and Clarence lived briefly at Tracyton, Kitsap, WA where Charlottes mother and stepfather were living. [10][11] They moved to Seattle, WA by 1935.[12] They continued to live in Seattle through 1940.[13][14][15] Clarence worked as a civil engineer and in 1942 registered for the WW2 draft.
Charlotte passed away a few years after her second marriage.[18] She drowned in an auto accident on Sep 4, 1949 while visiting Fairbanks, AK.[19]

Regarding Charlotte’s birth information…we are missing her birth record. For now I have relied on the 1901 census for her birth date and her naturalization record for birth location. The year is confirmed by her gravestone. I welcome any further information.
Secondly, I wonder if it’s possible to find a divorce record for Clarence and Charlotte? I think it would have happened between 1942 and 1946. ??
