Biography

Thomas S. Youngblood was born about 1791 in South Carolina.[1]

He married Devisa[1] and the couple had the following known children:

  1. Alexander Youngblood was born about 1819 in South Carolina.[1]
  2. Elizabeth J. Youngblood was born about 1833 in South Carolina.[1]

He appears on the 1840 census in Pike County, Alabama with the following household members:

males)5-10:1 ; 20-30:3 ; 50-60:1
females)5-10:1 ; 10-15:1 ; 15-20:1 ; 50-60:1
1 slave.[2]

In 1860 Thomas is still living in Pike County, Alabama[1] where he remained in 1866.[3]

Thomas died sometime after 1866, possibly in Pike County, Alabama where he was living at that time.[3]
