I am having trouble locating documents or links to establish relationship with James Lindsey (1791-1846) to possibly David Lindsey (1750-1835) of Alabama or to another possible father. The James Lindsey in question married Martha Torrance Moore and was the father of William Moore Lindsey (1821-1894).  Any information is appreciated.  Thank you

Welcome to G2G Rosemary!

For anyone interested:  David Lindsey

I'm a PM for David, but I'm lost on this one.  I don't know if we have a profile for James.

Rosemary, it would help attract the right people if you add tags to your question, like lindsey alabama virginia moore.

It's spelled different ways different places, spelling of names being somewhat flexible back then.  The Revolutionary who died in Alabama is Lindsey on WikiTree.  That is the David Rosemary is asking about.
