All the glasses were made from kitchenware, except the antennas which are either thin, stiff wire or brazen rods. The brother’s glasses are forks and spoons. The spoons are slotted spoons and spoons with holes drilled. Ken (wearing the black jacket), the family jokester and tease, wanted Pauline’s glasses to be bolder, and made them out of hand held food strainers. Pauline gave in to the humor and said, “Kitchenware is no longer for the table, but is now for fashion. Also you can go to a restaurant and not worry about the lack of silverware.”
