Matching FamilySearch and WikiTree Profiles

I forgot about this great little app for matching FamilySearch and WikiTree profiles.  It makes posting the FamilySearch ID on the WikiTree profile pretty quick and easy.  https://apps.wikitree.com/apps/york1423/fs-match/

While I have not used this app, I do bounce regularly back and forth between FS and WT in order to check sources. I will have to try this app and see how well I can get it to work! Thanks for the reminder!

Of course this also depends on if the information on FS is accurate. It's a good starting point, but it is not meant to be an absolute guarantee to be error free.

Absolutely, Paul, but that is true of anything human’s touch.  I like the old adage, “Believe none of what you hear and only half of what you read.”  We need to find as many sources as possible.

Within this topic I have a doubt.

If there is a profile in FamilySearch that does not exist in WikiTree, can we create it when performing the match?
