New member introducing myself

Question

Hello! My name is Adrienne Webb, and I'll be uploading my GedCom shortly. Looking forward to making connections and furthering my research! I heard about WikiTree via Genealogy Twitter.

I've researching my tree for about 10 years now.

Family names: Webb, Spain, Armstrong, Campion, Douglas, Byng, Frank, Heibein, Moran, and Greig.

Places: Canada (Grey, Leeds, Wellington Cos), Scotland (Glasgow, Ayr, East Lothian), England (various locales in Kent, London, Manchester), Bermuda, and Germany (my big dead end)

I can't wait to get started!

Welcome to Wikitree, Adrienne!

You may notice by past forum discussions, that gedcom file uploads can be a hot topic. Some people love them, others not so much!

My advice would be to try adding a couple of profiles manually first just to get an idea of the process. Then if you decide to use a gedcom. Start with a very small file. That way you can see how that process works too. The help pages have more info on this.
