Het hele projectteam van het Netherlands project - jouw voormalige Dutch Roots Project - wil je bedanken voor al de jaren dat je je hebt ingezet voor het project als leader. In 2015 ben je er mee gestart. Als pionier op een van de eerste niet Amerikaanse niet Engelstalige projecten. Samen met Joop het portaal opzetten en met Astrid de Liberation Challenge, Jaren ben je bijna 24/7 op WikiTree aanwezig geweest, altijd bereid te helpen, altijd klaar staan voor anderen. Daar is nu een eind aan gekomen. Het echte leven kwam er tussendoor.... en dat gaat voor. Loslaten is moeilijk. Het project was jouw kindje. Maar op een gegeven moment kan het niet meer anders. We wensen je veel gezondheid en geluk toe en hopen je ergens in de toekomst weer terug te zien op WikiTree.

The whole project team of the Netherlands project - your former Dutch Roots Project - would like to thank you for all the years you committed to the project as leader. In 2015 you started it. As a pioneer on one of the first non-US non-English speaking projects. Together with Joop setting up the portal and with Astrid the Liberation Challenge. For years you have been present on WikiTree almost 24/7, always willing to help, always ready to help others. This has now come to an end. Real life came in between.... and that comes first. Letting go is difficult. The project was your baby. But at a certain point there is no other way. We wish you good health and happiness and hope to see you back on WikiTree somewhere in the future.
