I believe that I am 18th cousin x1 to Cher, am I right?

Yes, that's right.  I have just checked the Relationship Finder and you (Pollard-1151) and 18th cousins once removed from Cher (Sarkisian-2).

Your common ancestor is Elizabeth (FitzAlan) Usflete (abt. 1371 - 1425) Lived to age ~54 (FitzAlan-633).
