Greetings: The Wikitree Cemetery Category "Look Up" has a page for a non existing Charlton, Worcester Co, Massachusetts cemetery. Looked high and low for a Charlton Center Cemetery. Had no luck finding any information on said cemetery, so I asking the question ....What's up with Charlton Center Cemetery. Finally, thank you for helping make Wikitree better each day.     THE SOFTWARE WOULD NOT LET ME PUT IN A NON EXISTING LINK SO YOU MAY HAVE TO LOOK IT UP MANUALLY ?

Hi, and thank you for post, but does not fit the problem well? Is there an exact place where people are buried ? Has the cemetery mentioned been renamed and now is  an "also known as"

A close out statement: Spoke with the Cemetery Commissioner for the town of Charlton, Massachusetts who offered the facts. There is not, nor was there ever property formally called "Charlton Center Cemetery". There was an "Old Charlton Cemetery" which was renamed "Bay Path Cemetery". Adding there was also a "New Charlton Cemetery" which became "Westridge Cemetery". Last item, the Commissioner carefully spelled out "Westridge"  (speaking one word) because often mis-written. A tiny bit of humor spotted because the "City web-site" used "West Ridge".  Will redo question for Wiki corrections.

Have come across a couple of sites recording Charlton Center Cemetery so must have been a real place, the following records it:

103. John A. Wheelock was born about 1807, died on 21 Sep 1848, in Worcester, Worcester, MA, buried in Charlton Center Cemetery, Charlton, Worcester Co, MA. He married Lydia E. Wood on 13 Nov 1837, in Charlton, Worcester Co, MA.

However, as you have noted, the cemetery is not recorded currently. https://www.townofcharlton.net/265/Public-Cemeteries

Two good replies prompted me to consider calling Carlton City Hall tomorrow to see if they have input toward knowing if any of the current names cemeteries was Carlton Center Cemetery. I do now see Bay Path Cemetery has an "also know as"  so without guessing, will check that out. If I get a good response from the city, maybe (guessing) we can make Carlton Center Cemetery a duplicate category and kill what is presently in the look up in favor of it's present name.  Thank you to all.  Will close question in a day.

If I had to take a guess at it, it was probably renamed. This would be my best guess:
