Donald McGrath and Nelly Sharp from Antrim, Northern Ireland had a son John McGrath.

I know the 3 of them came from Antrim, Northern Ireland and that John McGrath was born 1806 there. John McGrath later went to Argyllshire Scotland married twice, 1st to Katy Rayals  and than to Catherine McMillan. John died 27 January 1885 in The Poorhouse, Campbeltown, Argyllshire, Scotland. Just any other information eludes me so need some help please. Thank you

There was a John McGrath living Campbelltown married to a Katherine.     (National Records of Scotland)

John Mc Grath Head age 50yrs Labourer Born Ireland

Katherine Wife age 40yrs (Born Argyle Southend) Francis Son age 11yrs (Born Campbelltown) Maryann Daughter age 8yrs (Born Campbelltown) Margaret Daughter age 8yrs (Born Campbelltown) Margaret Daughter age 7yrs (Born Campbelltown) John Son age 6yrs Born Campbelltown

On the Copy of John's Death Registers it gives His Death at

01:00am 24th January 1885 (Poor House Campbelltown) age 75yrs

Yes yes this is my John McGrath.  I note there is two Margaret's.  I understand John McGrath had begin married previous to a Katy Rayals  before he married Catherine McMillan. Catherine and John had another son Daniel McGrath who died before his father John. Daniel married Mary McFarlane. Wonder what happened to Katy Rayals and Catherine McMillan.  Any information you can provide I would be so grateful for. I live in New Zealand. My  email addy is cathiandrell9@gmail.com.
