Samuel Brown related to Low Brown?

Any descendants of Samuel Brown (c 1760-1830 KY) [[Brown-92696|Samuel Brown (abt.1777-abt.1829)]] and Henrietta nee' Hobbs Brown? Their children were born in Nelson County, KY.  Harmon, Alfred, Harrison and Benjamin Franklin [had daughter Susan] (and other siblings) moved to IL (Knox and Mercer counties) in about 1830.

If so, do you know the ancestry of Samuel? I wonder if he might be related to Lowe Brown, b. 1756 [[Brown-9731|Lowe William Brown (1756-1841)]] son of William and Martha Lowe (of Scotland). Lowe died 1841 Tazewell County, VA. He appears to be the 'adopted' ancestor of my 2nd great grandfather, Richard Gibson Brown (RGB) b.c. 1823 in Tazewell, VA. RGB also moved to the same area in IL by 1840. His 1st son's name is Lowe, 2nd son, Benjamin Franklin and daughter, Susan.

Curiously, my brother's yDNA matches Harrison Boling (b. Tazewell, VA) and some Harman/Harmon families lived in Tazewell, VA as well.

With all of these similarities, is this coincidence or early family relationships?

Also, if any of those mentioned are your kin, but you don't know the answer, I'd be glad to share what I know.

Cheers! Beth

Tazewell County was full of Harmans, and Low Brown's daughter Mary married one (Hezekiah, son of Henry Sr), so a DNA match isn't a complete surprise.

I'm a descendant of Low's daughter Mary and also have five other lines going back to Harmans.
