Further help please. My name is Maureen Ford (O'Keefe)

Question

I have had some wonderful help in the past, so thought I'd give it another try.  I believe the information I have  so far is correct.  My great grandparents came from Ireland circa 1864  and settled first in Queensland.  I am trying to find out how and where they arrived.  Their names are Catherine & Patrick O'Keefe.  I did find a ship with names that correspond, The Queen of the South. But am not SURE if I have the right people.   They had 3 children in Ipswich, but don't know where they landed and what they did (work).

Also Patrick had a brother Denis O'Keefe and his wife was also Catherine. Not sure where they landed

I understand they all settled in Drouin Victoria, but I cant find a deaths for any of them

It helps us to help you when we have as much information as possible, and if we can work from existing profiles (makes it easier to add source information).

Melanie is right-on.  It is oh-so-much-easier to help when there is a profile here, but in this case Maureen did not provide any birth or death dates for members of this family.  If she doesn't know any dates for any of them then she can't add any profiles yet, so someone with skills at researching this area/time frame is needed to get to the point of starting to add profiles (sorry, but that's not me).

Maureen, I recommend that you remove the greeters tag from your question (they specialize in making new members at home here) and add the tag australia (if that's the right country - I reluctantly admit to total stupidity about the question itself).  That will bring it to the attention of the right people to be able to find the needed information.

I agree with Melanie.  It helps us so much to have a base profile from which to work from, Maureen.
