New member introducing myself

I have been doing my family genealogy since 1988. That's pre-computer era so I started by wearing out a lot of shoes on courthouse steps and in library stacks. I'm a stickler in using the GPS in my research. Last winter a relative died who was living in the house of my great grandparents. We found that my grandparents never threw out any letters from the late 1890's through 1978 when my great grandmother died. We also found that there were boxes belonging to my 3rd great grandparents in the attic. None of the family members, including me, had any idea this massive data store existed. Consequently it's in very good shape. The family has been very generous in letting me archive every letter, recipe and picture. There are thousands of them. I am using wikitree to help identify some of the people named in these letters and to fill in some gaps that I see here that I have proof to offer. I have until the Spring to make a dent in this hoard so I am not able to leisurely help. I have a website I am nearly ready to launch so I can share what I'm finding and get some input from the rest of my family. I can see, on here, that there are people adding some of the people I'm documenting so I'm going to go look and see what's already being done and see if I can contribute. Thanks to all of you for doing this project!
