Thanks for answering Carolyn's question, a similar comment was posted on a profile I manage for someone who is Carolyn's direct ancestor.

You don't add your DNA to her profile.  You add information on any DNA tests you have taken to your own profile and it automatically propagates back through your tree where it will show you on the "DNA Connections" portion of the profiles.  It takes about 24 hours for this to happen after you add your own DNA test information or add or connect to a new ancestor.

Odd but true. I DNA connect to an Amelia Parker from the same era. My Amelia was from St.Catherine's Ontario (close to Welland)  My Amelia however married name was Gill. Amelia is not a common name today but must have been back in the late 1800's. I would not have found the connection if it had not been for dna matches.
