I'm a fan of Steve Skafte. He's on the Facebook, and on the Facebook page called "Abandoned Cemeteries of Nova Scotia". He finds various abandoned cemeteries in Nova Scotia, and records the information (photographs, written descriptions, locations). He has been generous with his knowledge. He sells artwork and calendars on Etsy to help fund his equipment/car for cemetery searches.

I have been following the work of Steve Skafte for the past few years and believe this book and/or his work may be used as a resource.

If the stones are legible in his photos, the cemeteries are located in an area that corresponds with existing records and any relationships to other names on nearby stones can be corroborated, I would definitely use his work as a resource and include as much info as possible, including GPS coordinates of the cemetery..

Steve Skafte's work is a rare mix of history, art and poetry.
