I'm working on the profile of a Union Civil War soldier who died in 1864 , while imprisoned at Andersonville Prison in Georgia.   I may have located his wife,  but would like to verify with FOLD3   Civil War Pension records.    Hopefully,  someone with access to FOLD3 can find a Widow's pension application  for  Pvt. Henry H. Sanderson of Indiana.   Details are provided on the attached WikiTree ID.

On Fold3 (https://www.fold3.com/image/296523210) there is a fairly lengthy Widow's Pension record (19 pages). Her name was Mary A. Sanderson, Parke County, Indiana. Born about 1830 (35 years old in 1865).

They married on 23 Mar 1854. Her maiden name was Mary A. Sale. They had two children.

  • Emily Jane Sanderson (25 Oct 1856)
  • Stephen Perry Sanderson (02 Dec 1858)
I attached the image of page 3, which contains this information, to his profile.
