Multiple profiles in the Wolf/Wolfe line-need help merging!!

Question

I need some help merging some of my Wolf/Wolfe ancestors.  I'm trying to untangle several duplicates to for my 5X great grandfather.  When I made his profile I didn't know there was a duplicate with a different spelling for his name.  I have sent a message to the manager of the other profile and haven't gotten a response.

Name: Johann (John) Philip Wolf (Wolfe) Wolf-833 Wolfe-1969

Wife: Anna Margareta Wagner (Waggoner) Wagner-1633  Waggoner-729

It appears that there are two Johann (John) Wolfe's and two Anna Margareta Waggoner's. A couple of these profiles were orphaned profiles so I took possession of them.  Of the ones that had managers, I sent messages to the managers re: merging the two profiles and have not heard back.  Can someone in the data doctors advise me on how to proceed with merging these profiles into one?

It is easier to propose merges for all the related profiles at one time.  Parent profiles should always be merged before the children profiles are merged, so a parent profile is not left by itself and not connected.

If you set up a merge and don't hear from the other manager after 30 days, it will let you merge them yourself. I add a note to my Nav page to remind me of what date I'm waiting for and who I'm wanting to merge. It's faster and easier if they agree, but I've waited the 30 days plenty of times.
