Several possibilities:

A) The Hazard genealogy may be incorrect, thus the Hannah Wilcox who Samuel Clark(e) may have been of a different descendancy;

B) A NEHGS entry, as mentioned by another contributor, may be misleading to a premise that the Hannah Wilcox who married Samuel Clarke was a daughter of Daniel Wilcox;

C) There may have been multiple Samuel Clarkes in proximate geography who married different Hannah Wilcoxes.

Frankly, the Clarke-4345 profile is weak, thus in its present condition should not be considered a strict impediment against merging with Clarke-22527, however I agree with Betty that we should be careful before doing so. Enhanced sourcing and edits to the Clarke-4345 profile are encouraged.
