Vernon DNA origins - Normandy / England

Good afternoon, I have done a lot of research on my Vernon line.  Recently someone reached out to me about a DNA study on the family origins.  It seems that there's gene markers indicating a divergence on the yDNA line around AD 1000, right around the time that the Vernons first came to England with William the Conqueror.  My Vernons come via Cheshire England to the US in 1682.  I have researched our line and believe that we're descended from the Shipbrook Barons but do not have it proved out yet.  Please see the attached page for my notes on the subject.  If you are interested in the study, please let me know, and thank you!
