Do you want to help a fellow WikiTreer increase their CC7?
As part of our 15th Anniversary celebration in 2023, we're holding a series of We Will RAWK You events. It's a lot like the WikiTree Challenge except that our goal is to work on the branches of five fellow WikiTree members.
RAWK stands for Random Acts of WikiTreer Kindness.
To date we've had three We Will RAWK You events and each produced wonderful growth in the CC7s of 15 WikiTreers (5 per event), thanks to the zealous team of RAWKERS. There are just two more We Will RAWK You events planned for this coming October and December. What genealogical generosity will we be able to bestow upon the remaining 10 RAWKEES?
How it works:
A month before each of these events, we will put out a call in G2G for RAWK nominations. This is your opportunity to nominate another WikiTreer to be a potential participant in the We Will RAWK You Event.
After nominations close, The WikiTree Events Committee will randomly pick 5 of the nominated WikiTreers who will then get to be RAWKED.
A month prior to each event, we will also put out a call in G2G for RAWKERS, WikiTreers who would like to help work on the lines of the 5 participants. That's what this post is for!
On the 1st of October, we'll kick off the next We Will RAWK You Event. Everyone who signed up to help with research will have one month to work to see how much they can increase the CC7 numbers for the five nominated WikiTreers.
There are stickers for those who are RAWKED and for the RAWKERS.
