Can't add Hare-3448 as spouse to Fagg-708 in either direction - it says invalid Wikitree ID.

Question

I created Fagg-708 as daughter of her father, then tried to link her to her husband who is Hare-3448. Whether I try to connect them from his page or hers it has me put in the date and place and when I click proceed it says invalid Wikitree ID. How do I get past that?

It appears that you have figured this out.  When I just looked, they are shown as spouses.  Good job!

Thanks for fixing that, but why was I getting that error message over and over from both profiles? Anything I am doing? I've added spouses a hundred times before and the ID's were copy-pasted.

Diane, since you were copying and pasting the ID it should have been valid. Just for full confirmation, could you please let us know exactly where you copied it from?

In the green box, right below Profile Manager, it has the ID.

Since the initial post, I attempted to link another daughter to the father I started with. Same error message. But when I went to the daughter's profile and added the father, it worked right away. Weird!

Thanks Diane, that should work. (The easiest way to copy a profile ID is with the ID icon next to the scissors just after the name heading near the top of the profile: one click, with no selection required.) If it happens again, it might be useful not to work around it but leave it with the error reproducible, to help Jamie investigate. Could you do a screenshot showing the error message?
