Problems with some surnames in Greeks ?

Question

1. I can not create a new profile (with surname Γυμνοπούλου or Εφραιμίδης : Duplicate ID error when creating profile for ....) 2. I can not change Last Name at Birth: from Unknown to Γυμνοπούλου.

What is going on ?

Hi Δημήτρης. Problem 1 does sound like a bug.

For problem 2, are you saying that you do not know how to change the last name at birth, or that you do know but it does not work?

If you are already following these instructions, what goes wrong? If you see an error message, what does it say exactly?

The problem still remains. I can not create "Ποιμενίδου", "Σιαμανίδης", "Ιωακειμίδης", "Μασμανίδου", "Σισμάνη", "Κοσμίδης" etc. surname profiles also. When I search for Genealogy of these names, the "μ" letter is converted to "U" (Σιαμανίδης->ΣιαUανίδης). It looks like the problem is with letter "μ", which is common to all names, so I can not create a profile with this letter in Surname. Thanks
