String of dateless pre-1500 "ap" profiles

Working through dateless profiles and came across a string of "ap ____" surname profiles, largely empty; mostly dateless (one in the ancestral pedigree indicates 1200s...)

Wondering if any pre-1500 folks could help date/source these.

Thanks so much...

Thanks Jillaine. I will add some sources and other details. I think the date showing the 1200s is probably incorrect -- as Bartrum's Welsh Genealogies (chart Marchudd 27) indicates that person's great-grandfather was living in 1352..

Jillaine, Many thanks.

I spent 6 months last year looking at all the pre-1500 profiles (abt 2,500) and ensuring their names are in the format agreed by the Wales Project. Ian Speed was a great help, together with others, notably Rich Devlin, so they are largely in the correct format.
This process in itself created more "ap ____" than there were before, ditto "ferch ____".
During the first half of 2024 we in the Wales Project should be in a position with a small dedicated team to have all these profiles within our remit.
I started in going over the unsourced formatted profiles in October, using Bartrum as a starting place. I have downloaded all the Bartrum files and converted them to JPEGs on a hard disk for my own use.
For several reasons, not least a long holiday on the other side of the world, I have not back to Wikitree very much since then.
2024 awaits

This discussion is well above my knowledge scale and I don’t know if any ap Richard’s appear in the early WT profiles, but it seems Upritchard is derived from it. Way back when I joined the Pritchard  project there were no matches under DF27 > FT34404 although I have Pritchard matches in Canada and Australia. There are several Welsh surnames under FT34404; Welsh, Walsh, Jones, Davies, Alexander, and I’m very keen to ‘prove’ our anecdotal Welsh origin. Patronymica Britannia describes Upritchard/Uprichard as an Irish corruption of Richard but I have found this spelling in Wales. Unfortunately they are reluctant Ydna testers. Apritchard may still be used in Ireland.

If anyone could comment on this, it would be greatly appreciated.
