on the 1870 and 1880 Census Nancy [Widow] Harmon and Liddy Harmon are listed as servants/housekeepers, Perlina Gibson is listed as Wife. The children under Nancy and Liddy are listed as Harmon and marriage, Death, Military records are in the name of Harmon. is this a DNA issue that they are actually Gibson with Squire the father?

I see all children listed under Squire and Perlina, none under Nancy and Liddy on the original census document.  It's quite possible that they were relatives of either Squire or Perlina, it's common to see other relatives in a household listed as boarders or servants, although this entry is quite specific that they are servants.
