Hi Christropher,
Since I am not sure what information you have and these were not listed in your sources, I have included what I have located in a quick search.
1) Just in case you were not aware, there is a Walking Tour of Historic Northville, Michigan which mentions that most of the homes on the tour can trace their ownership back to one of the first settlers including Alanson Aldrich. The group leading this may have more information about Alanson. You never know until you reach out.

2) The National Aldrich Association is a group founded in 1964 by Earl Aldrich. They focus on the Aldrich genealogy beginning with their first American ancestor, George Aldrich who came to Massachusetts from England in 1631. They have 306 members.

Though focused on the Aldrich surname in other areas, it is still in the New England area. Could be possible relatives. Alanson was born in New York, which was a common state many of the New Englanders removed to. In the Bibliography for the National Aldrich Association, there is an "Alanson Aldrich Bible" referred to.

It was referenced in the Genealogical Society of Old Tyron County Bulletin, Vol. 2, No. 2 from May 1974. That Bulletin is available at the Family History Library Film 6050631

Possibly one of those 306 members have some piece of information to assist you.
3) Since Alanson is a unique name, most likely a family name passed down, possibly by researching Alanson Aldrich who was born about 1814 and die 30 Oct 1842 and was buried in Woonsocket, RI might lead you closer. Or Alanson Aldrich who was born March 15, 1905, whose has a New York Social Security Number, and died in January 1986 might be a lead.
4) NOTE: The next reference is a PDF document online. I would recommend not clicking on any of the links within the document for security reasons. Instead track down the source through the information provided.

This is a list of Aldritch Family Bibles or Registers with some source details.
5) From the Quaker Records from Farmington Monthly Meeting, Ontario County, New York Pag 42, there is a marriage record for Alanson Aldrich to Huldah Melrich on 26 Mar 1827 at Macedon.

There are a lot of other Aldrich marriages that I saw as I was locating this so might help to build connections.
6) Another interesting document to look at is the "One Hundred and Sixty Allied Families" by John Osborne Austin, Providence Rhode Island, starting with Page 3. If you notice this speaks of George Aldrich and their family with dates. The very next one is Jacob Aldrich who married a Huldah Thayer, whose mother was a Huldah Hayward. The fact that names Huldah and Aldrich are connected at 1675, hints that this maybe your earlier ancestors and possibly you can try working down from them and find success. The pages are out of order on the PDF so you will have to do some piecing together

Though these may not be direct roots to the ancestor you are looking for, maybe one of these which allows you to come at it from a different angle you can break through those brick walls.
Happy hunting!
