Hello,
I have been researching both my parents lines.
Not knowing much on my fathers, so far I can only go with what I have.
My mothers father is where I can not get passed. The spelling of his last name I was told was different before he settled in Canada. The current spelling is Shtyka. He was born in 1884 Kiev . Since this time and place was over ruled by the Soviet Union, and I do not speak Ukraine or Russian, it has been a challenge to go forward.
If anyone has any ideas that could be passed along this would be great.
I already Have all his Military information. It is his parents , grand parents and any other siblings he may of had other than the one sibling I have found.
