I need proof for DAR that my 2nd great grandfather is the son of Henry "Hal" Guffey andElizabeth Adams. Can anyone help?

Does anyone have a bible or somehting that states Richard Guffey was the 8th child of Henry "Hal" Guffey and Elizabeth Adams I would appreciate the info.

I don't know if this will help, but at least it's supporting. The 1850 census in Dodge, Missouri (Image 280 and 281) shows Richard's family followed by Joshua Guffey's family. In Joshua's household (if you go to Image 281) you will see the parents Elizabeth and Henry.  FamilySearch Record, Image 280-281
