cannot add own child under 13

Question

Hi,

I'm trying to add my own kids to my family tree.  Keep getting an error that I can only add my own kids... which is what I'm trying to do!  

What am I doing wrong?

Are you trying to add as a separate new person, or attached to you via the child link?

I'm clicking on the "children?" link under my own name, which takes me to "Edit child of AJ Foreit".  And then I click on "Create a new profile for their child" because the other option ("Connect an existing profile as their child") doesn't apply.

Is it possible to create the profile with a month but no year?

no - it requires the year.

Make sure you're logged in.  I've tried to make changes but then realize I had been logged out.

And did you sign the WikiTree Honor Code thing?
