X has GEDCOM uploads that have not yet been processed. The profile cannot be merged until

Question

Does this mean *I* need to do something? Or do I need to wait until somebody else does something? Like an admin etc.

Wayne, it looks like " "Import Approval by Wayne Johnson: Incomplete"

It also looks like you uploaded the same gedcom twice so you need to delete one perhaps ? You do not want duplicates - the same people uploaded twice. We try to prevent that at WikiTree.

Great, thanks Maggie! I have deleted the 2nd copy.

So, according to Randy Seaver's blog post ( http://www.geneamusings.com/2013/12/adding-early-seaver-generations-to.html ) I should have gotten a GEDCompare report within 15-30 minutes right? And I need to go through that before I can import the file. It didn't come within a day so I wrote to the e-mail address given but I don't think I got a response. So I uploaded again yesterday (the one I have deleted now) but still I don't see a GEDCompare report, or where it would be if I had one.

What should I do next?

She might be a little behind on processing gedcoms so give her another 12 - 24 hours.

Hi Wayne,

Every now and then a GEDCOM file gets hung up in our system and can't be correctly processed.  That's the case with your GEDCOM.  Uploading it again will likely result in the same problem.  If you'd like, you can send me your GEDCOM file and I'll recreate it with my RootsMagic program. You can then upload that one. That's worked for other members in the past. If you want to do that you can send me your GEDCOM file to eowyn -at- wikitree.com.  Thanks!
