Which Lieut Gen Nicholls was the father of Mary Nicholls who married Lieut Gen William Brooke?

Question

I assume he was related to Jasper Nicholls as my great grandfather was later named Jasper Nicholls Anderson but I have nothing else to go on.

That could well be her, thank you.  Oliver Nicholls was Major then but could have been promoted to Lieut Gen later and Mary in this tree has a brother William Jasper.  Cannot find anymore info on Oliver.

I was trying to find a connection to Gen Sir Jasper Nicholls because the Anderson side of my family through the Graves were connected to him and he was in India and that is where the Brookes were but I can't find one.
