William Ivy has a Skeleton in the Closet, Does anyone know who he is and where he comes form?

Question

The Skeleton in my family closet comes for the ancestors of [http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Ivy-215 William Ivy-215] my 3rd Great Grandfather. 

Here is what is known or what the family lets be known.  William and Margaret Ivy moved from Tennessee to Kentucky sometime after 1861.

Daughter Florence T Ivy married Perry Sherman McIntyre, they lived in Carroll County, Ky.  Their daughter Bertha Ella McIntyre married James Lewis Eades, whom she was divorced from after a stillborn baby (their 3rd child).  James claimed child wasn't his.

Cannot find exactly when William Ivy came  to Kentucky from Tennessee and who his parents were.

Any and all information is welcome from anyone who has any leads.to the ancestors of this branch of my family.

Looks like this Margaret was married to Morgan Ivy, not William.   Maybe a relative.

Not sure where the Shell's fit in, never heard of anyone in the family with this surname, but not impossible.

Don't know if this helps, but William Morgan Ivy, sometimes went by Morgan on census. Rebecca Shelly age 40 was living with Morgan and Margaret in 1860.
