Joe, is my husband's great-grandfather.  He was born about 1861 in South Carolina and died in Arkansas in 1953.  I have traced his history up to who his parents were.  I have traced every link I can think of, the only thing I have found is that they were born in South Carolina.  Sometimes, he went by JW, sometimes Joseph.  Abrams has been spelled every imaginable way possible.  I just can't get a lead on his parents or siblings.  Thanks for question and help.
