twin boys adopted by different families

Twin "W" boys b.Feb, 1867 to married couple; father "W" d. June, 1867.  One twin adopted by "C" parents; one twin adopted by "M" parents. both adopted by 1870. .  Both grew to manhood, married and had children and grandchildren.  Is this a case where two profiles for the same person is used? with links from each identity to the other?  What happens to the DNA trail when/if the children and grandchildren have their DNA tested?
Have been perplexed by this situation for some time now.  Any suggestions welcomed.

if they are a direct blood t line to you I would research the blood line if you know the bio parents  if they are say an adopted sibling of you grandparents I would just add in the bio parents.

so say it is your great grandfather who was adopted add their adoptive parents and siblings but add the bio family too,

if it is say your grandfaters brother just add the bio parent info and not search more in to it,

unless you have tons of time and want to but I would only spend time on the one link to you its was 150 years ago

No, don't make two profiles for the same person.  I would link their biological parents as father and mother, and have links to adoptive parents in the profiles.  Then the DNA trail will lead to the correct (i.e.,biological) parents.
