Well Ancestry has done a big update to their DNA matching. I love it.
My experience so far is that it seems to get riid of matches from groups of people that lived in the same area and intermarried cousins. One of my 'big discoveries' after my first DNA test was that my great grandfather might have been the product of a non-paternity event (NPE). However, with the new DNA results, those groups of people, the Swaffords and the Lees, have been moved further down my match list, and new matches have surfaced that actually indicate that perhaps the Swafford, Howards and Lees were related to his mother a couple generations back rather than to the unknown father.
I am curious how other people might be experiencing the changes.
